A 10-day journey through Nepal's finest wellness destinations, structured around the country's authentic healing traditions – Ayurveda, yoga, Buddhist mindfulness practice and Himalayan spa therapies – set within mountain landscapes that are among the most restorative on earth. This is not a generic spa holiday with a Nepal backdrop; it is a programme built around properties and practitioners who deliver the genuine depth of these traditions in settings that amplify their effect.
The tour begins at Dwarika's Hotel Kathmandu for cultural grounding and gentle orientation. Moving through Bandipur's hill-town atmosphere and the Trishuli River valley to Pokhara, where The Pavilions Himalayas provides eco-luxury villa accommodation with daily yoga, spa treatments and organic farm dining. The programme continues through Lumbini – the birthplace of the Buddha, one of the world's great spiritual sites – before the concluding stage at Dwarika's Resort Dhulikhel, Nepal's premier Ayurvedic wellness retreat, where the journey ends with 2–3 nights of structured wellness programming against a panoramic Himalayan backdrop.
Three nights in the most culturally significant luxury hotel in Nepal. Morning yoga in the garden, Ayurvedic treatments in the heritage spa, and guided cultural sightseeing to set the tone for a journey that combines Nepal's outer landscape with its inner traditions. The hotel's meditation sessions and evening documentary screenings about the Himalayan region add depth to the wellness experience from the first day.
Two nights in a private eco-villa with Annapurna views. Yoga by the lake in the morning, spa treatments using wild-harvested Himalayan botanicals in the afternoon, organic farm-to-table dining in the evening. The Pavilions' approach to wellness is rooted in the land – the farm, the botanicals, the mountain air and the extraordinary stillness of the setting all contribute to what is genuinely one of the finest wellness experiences in South Asia.
One night at Lumbini – the birthplace of the Buddha – for a guided visit to the Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar and international monastery zone. The atmosphere of Lumbini at dawn, before the day-visitors arrive, has a stillness and spiritual weight that no other destination in Nepal matches.
Two nights at Nepal's premier wellness retreat in the Himalayan foothills. Structured Ayurvedic treatment programme (consultation with resident physician, personalised treatments including Abhyanga oil massage, Shirodhara and herbal steam), daily yoga and pranayama, meditation practice and therapeutic mountain walks. The resort's panoramic Himalayan view and natural material architecture create a retreat environment of genuine depth.
